Itinerary 7


Headed back into Scandinavia to explore Northern Sweden up to the Arctic Circle then traveled south through Finland until I reached Turko. From there I charted a ferry across to Stockholm. Joined a local family on their holiday and explore the Swedish Archipelago. From Stockholm I headed west by train through Oslo station to the west coast of Norway, eventually returning to. I returned to Oslo to catch a train south back into the mainland of Europe.

Bounced around between counties of Northern Europe east of France, avoiding the rain whenever possible. Gradually migrated south into the Eastern Alps.

Took advantage of good weather in Austria and eventually headed south into Italy to reach the western portion of the Alps.

Austria: Linz, Wein, Schwarzach, St Veit, Badgastein, Spittal – Millstrattersee, Liez, Innsbruck

Trekked across Northern Italy reentering the Alps from the south into the heartland of Switzerland. Continued east to join Oktoberfest festivities and wandered around Germany until the rain chanced us out.

Austria: Innsbruck
